commercial music contents page analysis- NME

Nme’s content page appealed to me because of the way the features are categorised and look organised and its structure allows people to go straight to the topic they desire. i also thought that the colour schemes were clever as they were continous the colours red, black and white. However i didnt like the amount of information on the page, it looks really busy and clustered. also the main picture is a of a building which didn’t really appeal to me because its a music magazine and this is not portrayed through the image of a building regardless of what the building is.  Also i didn’t think the advertising on the contents page was appropriate as it distracts the reader, and takes them off the topic of music. it also looks a tad tacky and common. which isn’t what magazines should be aiming for, but more to contain rare images and information as this is what increases marketisation.
